Well macro is short for macronutrients. There are three macronutrients that the human body needs and uses as its energy source, Protein, Carbohydrates and Fat. Each of these macronutrients has a unique but important role in our body’s functions. (Yes, you read that right, even carbs!) This is why having a good balance of each of them is important to overall health and wellness. By calculating your macro numbers and making a conscious effort to eat according to that balance of nutrients we can unlock incredible results across all categories of our life. By making sure you are eating enough protein, fat, and carbohydrates you may find your energy increases, cravings are reduced, your relationship with food begins to change for the better, and your overall health is improved.
